Tipping - Not A City in China
Live music takes us to a better place. We rely on sympathetic melodys and songs in times of need. We accentuate the best moments of our lives with the music that makes us feel like we want to feel. Musicians go to great lenghts to bring us music. Unfortunately, musicans don't get paid very well. They don't get retirement benefits. They certainly can't afford things like doctor appointments, dentist visits, or health insurance.
Guitar strings need to be replaced and vehicles need gasoline and repairs. By eating cheaply and sleeping in my vehicle, I have kept my overhead low enough to make a life in music possible. Barely. Every day, the slightest change in luck could put an end to it all! The generosity of friends, fans, and strangers has made it possible to keep this show on the road. Thanks to everyone who has ever dropped a ten in the tip jar. I couldn't do it without you!
